Galatianism unties our shoelaces! Theologian Charles Ryrie defined Galatianism as, "Any action of the flesh which hinders spiritual progress." These are holidays that people observe, or things they do or refrain from doing, that are supposed to make them more godly - but which have the opposite effect. The Christians in Galatia had started the race well, but Paul saw that they were being tripped up.
